Summary

Businesslang does not use advertising, analytics cookies or third party trackers, and we never sell or share personal information. We only process the information you choose to send us.

Information we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, optional company name, topic and message.
• Job applications: your name, email address, the role you choose and the CV you upload.
• Server logs: like every website, our server records technical request data (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) to keep the site secure and working. Logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to profile visitors.

How we use it

We use contact messages only to reply to you, and applications only to assess them for the role you applied for. We do not use your information for marketing and do not combine it with other data.

Retention

Contact messages are kept for up to 12 months. Applications are kept for up to 12 months after the role closes unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for their own purposes. Our hosting provider stores data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and California law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information and to object to or restrict its use. To make a request, use our contact form and choose "Privacy request". We will respond within the time the law requires.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, and submissions are stored on access controlled servers.

We will update this page if our practices change and show the new date at the top.
